When I used Canon cameras, I used to have two cameras to avoid changing lenses too often and thus avoid dust on the sensor. In addition, I also had a Canon G1X which was my compact camera. With these three cameras I was ready to capture any moment without necessarily having to change lenses. The only problem was the weight and the bulk. As I have already explained, I therefore opted for a micro 4/3 and especially that before investing in my Panasonic Lumix G9, which is for me the best case I have ever had, I have experienced Panasonic Lumix technology with the FZ1000 and FZ2500. Swiss Army knives for photography.
So it was without hesitation that I first invested in replacing the Canon G1x, in the Panasonic GX85 and the LX100mkII.
However I also wanted to replace my old Canon 7D and so I opted for a second micro 4/3 case with hinged screen that unfortunately does not have the GX85. My choice was towards an Olympus om-d e-m5 mark ii because I had read a lot about it.
But the menu system being quite different than at Panasonic, I finally fell for the Panasonic Lumix G95. that I discover gently.
My photographic strategy, if I can say that, is to use my G9 for high speed performance and also since for its 6K technology and its detection for animals. My G95 will be used more for landscape and street photos.
I let you discover my first achievements with my new G95.
